HOW TO ENTER

​Step 1: Set up a free DUPR account (if you haven't got one already)

​DUPR is the premier rating system in Pickleball. It allows you to get a reflection of your current skill level and we use it to help select teams. If you don’t have a DUPR account, you can register here

Step 2: Register for a free Global Pickleball Network (GPN) Account

Canberra Pickleball League uses GPN for our registrations. You can also update scores and view league ladders on the site.

We recommend that you DO NOT enter your mobile/phone number when you register your account. GPN lists these  as public when you join the network. Mobile numbers are not required at this stage, and it protects your privacy.

Step 3: Connect Your DUPR Account to your GPN Account by clicking the 'connect to DUPR' button on the GPN site. This will allow your scores to update your DUPR.

Step 4: Join our Network: Canberra Pickleball League.

Click on “Networks” in the GPN menu and select the “Canberra Pickleball League”. If this does not come up there is an option to choose location.

Step 5: Click through to your nominated Division

The available divisions are:

• CPL Div 1 - DUPR 18 Team (suggested DUPR 3.8+ per player)
• CPL Div 2 - DUPR 16 Team (suggested DUPR 3.4+ per player)
• CPL Div 3 - DUPR 14 Team (suggested DUPR 3.0+ per player)
• CPL Div 4 - DUPR 12 Team (suggested DUPR 2.5+ per player)​​

After you have set up your GPN account, you can also click on one of these links to register for your preferred division:

• Nominate for CPL Division 1
• Nominate for CPL Division 2
• Nominate for CPL Division 3
• Nominate for CPL Division 4

Step 6: Click the “Join Team” button to finalise your nomination. The only option will be the division playing list.

Once you have clicked this button, you will be added to the list of players who have nominated for the division. ​

You will not be able to complete this step until you have linked your DUPR.

Step 7: Teams will be announced on the 23rd of April. 

For Divisions 1 and 2, teams will be selected via a draft by the team captains. If you would like to nominate for captain, please email [email protected]

For Divisions 3 and 4, teams will be selected by the CPL organising committee and the committee will attempt to accommodate the preferences that have been submitted. Please submit team preferences to [email protected]

Teams will be finalised once all player payments have been received.

Payment: 

League fees are $220 per season. These are not due until after the teams have been finalised (April 23rd). 
Please do not nominate if you cannot commit to playing in a CPL team.
