FAQ

I would like to play but I can’t play for the full season
You can still enter a team however your captain will need to find someone to replace you for the matches you are unavailable.

What is a
dreambreaker?
In Major League Pickleball, a Dreambreaker is a unique tiebreaker format used when teams are tied 2-2 after the four regular matches. In the Canberra Pickleball League a Dreambreaker will always be played as part of the Tie and is played in a singles format.
  • In a DreamBreaker, teams select 2 players.
  • Players alternate singles points—player vs. player—in a rotating fashion until a team reaches 21. (win by 2)
  • It’s fast-paced and strategic because teams have to decide the order and matchups.

Do I have to play Singles?
No.  However, your team will need to have 2 players competing in the Dreambreaker singles set.

Do I have to pay for the Global Pickleball Network?
No.  GPN has a premium membership option that allows user additional features such as access to additional statistics and less ads.  These are additional features and are not required for the CPL.
